Legendary music producer Don Jazzy has revealed his significant contribution to the newly released Billboard list of the “50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time.” The Mavin Records founder took to social media to celebrate, proudly stating that he produced six of the songs on the prestigious list. This places him as the producer with the most credits on the compilation, highlighting his huge influence on the genre. The list features some of Don Jazzy’s most iconic productions, including D’banj’s “Oliver Twist” and “Fall in Love,” Wande Coal’s “Bumper to Bumper” and “Kiss Your Hand,” and Tiwa Savage’s “Eminado.” The Mavin All-Stars hit “Dorobucci” also made the cut. This achievement solidifies Don Jazzy’s legacy as a true pioneer of Afrobeats.
