The Nigerian Navy has relieved a lieutenant of his duty and also sentenced him to 3years in prisonment for his gross misconduct.
According to a reliable source, the officer was discharged of his duty due to a scandalous affair with his colleague’s wife, which is against military rules, discipline and code of conduct.
After several investigations were carried out, the Navy discovered his involvement in the said act.
And as a result of his actions and inactions, the lieutenant was relieved from the service of the Nigerian Navy and further sent to 3years in prison.
