In a move to fight cyber crimes and other related financial crimes, The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has created a special unit to fight and strengthen the banking sector.
This move by the CBN is to provide more protection, transpiracy and further maintain stability in the in the Nigeria’s financial system.
Another purpose while the unit was created was to focus on issues such as money laundering, fraud, illegal transactions, and other crimes that threaten stability and reputations of Nigeria’s economy.
