The United Nations has condemned the killing of scores of civilians in an attack by Boko Haram insurgents on Darajamal village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

Sad news from Borno State, Nigeria. The United Nations “UN” has come out to strongly condemned the killing of many civilians in Darajamal village, Bama Local Government Area of Borno state.

Eye witness Reports says the Boko Haram insurgent which occured has left members of the community devastated there by leaving scores of people wounded and so many villagers dead, including women and children.

In a press statements, The UNITED NATIONS described the attack as cruel and unacceptable, stressing that innocent lives must be protected while also calling on the Nigerian government and security forces the need to take stronger action in stopping such violence and ensuring safety in the North-East.

The United Nations expressed sympathy to the families of the victims and wished the injured a quick recovery. It also urged that humanitarian aid continue in the area to support survivors and displaced people.
