To support women empowerment in Nigeria and alleviate economic challenges, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has launched the Renewed Hope Initiative Kogi State chapter. This program is designed to empower women by fostering their entrepreneurial dreams and promoting financial independence for women.
During the Kogi State launch ceremony, Senator Tinubu distributed ₦50,000 to each of 500 women to start or expand small-scale businesses in Nigeria, particularly in trading, farming, and local enterprises. The grants aim to enhance ease of doing business, improve family incomes, reduce poverty, and boost the Kogi State economy.
The Renewed Hope Initiative reflects a commitment to grassroots development in Nigeria and aligns with Senator Tinubu’s vision to ensure women across the country become self-reliant and productive. By supporting women entrepreneurs in Kogi, this initiative drives economic growth and strengthens communities.
