Man. City boss Pep Guardiola has stairs concerns regarding club’s striker Erling Haaland’s fitness, just as Jack Grealish prepares to make his long-awaited return to the team report says.
Guardiola openly expressed his concerns during a press conference briefing, stating that Haaland has been quietly battling with a slight injury and may not be available to feature for the full action.
Haaland has been a key player for the City side since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund.
Guardiola further explained that the medical team is closely monitoring the development though He said the club is no rush to rush the Norwegian striker back into the starting lineup because his health and long-term performance are more important than one or two games.
He also mentioned that though his injury is not a serious one that doesn’t mean because the team must be very cautious to avoid serious problems in the future.
Erling is doing well but we just have to take his recovery a step by step because we have many matches ahead, and it’s better he recovers completely before returning.
Guardiola also praised Grealish’s approach and hard work during his recovery from injury, saying that the winger is eager to help the team again. Jack has been working very hard to return. He looks sharp and motivated, Guardiola said.
City fans are hoping both Haaland and Grealish stays fit as the team due to a busy schedule ahead.
